George Wild

George graduated from Birmingham University in the UK with a BSc (Hons). Since graduation, he has worked in the UK, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Nigeria, and South Korea.

He is a Chartered engineer and Fellow of EA and IChemE with experience across a range of sectors (energy, resources, process, food, pharmaceutical, water and wastewater), in roles ranging from process engineering, project engineering, business development, management, facility support and commissioning.

George has been on the JVCEC since 2022 organising plant tours, a panel discussion, open mic nights, and supporting other activities including the end of year event and AGM.  Prior to being on the JVCEC, George has supported other events such as being a Pratt Prize judge and a penultimate year prize judge.
