M Adaham Ishak
M Adaham Ishak comes from a R&D background, and would like to promote a culture of innovation for all chemical engineers by holding talk/webinars based on my working experience to create an environment where creativity and risk-taking are encouraged. This includes supporting chemical engineers assigned to experimental projects and accepting that failure is a part of the innovation process.
He has 31 years of experience in R&D/technology development, process engineering and project management. A significant proportion of which has been spent in PETRONAS’ capital and R&D projects environment.
He has 13 years of experience process engineering in PMC and EPCC capital projects for oil, gas and petrochemical plants projects with total plant CAPEX around USD 4 billion.
The remaining 18 years were spent in downstream R&D projects with more than RM 400 mil. R&D funding at Proof of Concepts, Pilot Plants and Technology Deployment up to commercial trials & market seeding programs for PETRONAS Gas, LNG and PCG business units.
His final position was in PETRONAS as General Manager, Specialty Chemicals Technology managing eight R&D programs, 60 scientists and technicians both in laboratory and pilot plants with RM 70 mil. annual R&D and Technology Delivery funding.
