Nidhita Gosai is a Process Safety Engineer at Genesis Energy based in Hamilton Kirikiriroa with over seven years of experience across diverse industries, including pulp and paper, energy, water, and chemical manufacturing.

She has spent the earlier years of her career in Melbourne, Australia, working in operations at an upper-tier Major Hazard Facility (MHF) chlor-alkali plant. This experience has provided her with strong practical insight into process safety, risk management, and high-hazard industrial environments.

Nidhita holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Waikato and is an Associate Member of IChemE.

She is passionate about advancing process safety practice and promoting a strong safety culture within the energy industry. Nidhita is also committed to supporting the development of emerging engineers and strengthening engagement within the chemical engineering community across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region.
