Biography

John is currently Chief Project Development Engineer with ExxonMobil Global Projects, based in Texas, USA. Graduating from Imperial College London, UK in 1997, he then worked for BOC Process Plants (Guildford, UK) before joining ExxonMobil at the Fawley refinery in 2000. John’s roles have spanned Brownfield and Greenfield projects, process safety and operations support in either a technical or supervisory capacity. He has worked and led teams in the UK, USA, Canada and Malaysia. Currently a committee member for the IChemE US Gulf Coast (now USA & Canada) member group, he previously held the Vice Chair role. John is a Chartered Engineer and has been an IChemE Fellow since 2014.
