Biography

Matthew is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and Fellow of IChemE, with over 25 years of industry experience.

He started his career in 1995 at Foster Wheeler Energy, working on capital projects for a wide range of clients.

In 2008, he joined Shell where he has focused predominantly on the mid-stream business. He has held roles in Technology and Operations at liquified natural gas (LNG) and gas-to-liquid plants. He is currently assigned to Basrah Gas Company where he holds the position of Process Engineering Department Manager.

Matthew’s career has been global, with assignments to USA, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, The Netherlands, Qatar and Iraq.
