Tom Bullock

Tom graduated with an MEng in chemical engineering from the University of Birmingham in 2011. As a student he completed a year’s industrial placement with PepsiCo in an R&D role which inspired his pursuit of a career in food.

Following graduation he joined United Biscuits in an ingredients development role to gain a foundation snack technologies and ingredient functionality.

In 2014, Tom re-joined PepsiCo’s Foods R&D team as process engineer focusing on their healthier snacking portfolio of products, spanning both Europe sector and global roles, and he became a Chartered Member of IChemE.

Tom has been actively involved in IChemE’s Food and Drink Special Interest Group and as a STEM Ambassador advocating for the industry. In his spare time Tom enjoys a number of outdoor and mountain activities along with his wife and son.
