Chioma Udeozor

Chioma holds a PhD in chemical engineering from Newcastle University, UK, having completed an EU H2020 project on immersive technologies for chemical engineering training. She also holds a Master’s degree in operations and supply chain management from the University of Liverpool. Chioma is currently leading an Innovate UK project for circular economy at NEPIC.

Her work focuses on assessing the economic, environmental and supply chain implications of sustainable chemical production within the Teesside industrial cluster. Chioma’s interests include sustainable manufacturing, circular economy, digitalisation and industry 4.0.

Chioma aims to help increase awareness of chemical engineering career opportunities and support initiatives that help chemical engineering students and early careers navigate the profession.
