Tom Whateley

Tom has worked across a broad range of industries including pharmaceutical, petrochemical, refining, and oil and gas production. He has experience across all stages of project delivery and has spent a significant amount of time working in refinery operations and on oil and gas production facilities. Tom’s career has allowed him to work across the globe, including China, Japan, France, two years in Malaysia and eight years in Qatar, working with people from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds.

Tom is a Chartered Chemical Engineer who leads teams to achieve more together and help guide and inspire individuals to exceed their own expectations. Tom currently leads a globally distributed process engineering discipline team to deliver solutions for a major oil and gas company’s global production assets.

Tom is an ACTS administrator, a mentor, coach and supports early careers development within his company and through mentoring young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in other companies.
