Since 1732, BRIGGS has built on its extensive knowledge and experience to become a leading company in hygienic process engineering, manufacturing, and project management. A global presence
Operating from the Global Technical Centre in Burton on Trent, BRIGGS has sales and engineering hubs in England, Scotland, the USA, Mexico, and China. BRIGGS capability is further expanded by McMillan Coppersmiths, which provides traditional handcrafted copper distillation equipment to the distilled spirits market, enhancing BRIGGS' distilling turnkey capability. Through the wider CLPT Group, BRIGGS also has shared offices in Thailand and Japan, catering to the Southeast Asia Pacific region which offers great travel opportunities.
BRIGGS Engineering Graduate Training Scheme
The BRIGGS Engineering Graduate Training Scheme encourages engineers to develop their practical skills through supporting global projects across various industries. As part of their growth, BRIGGS actively encourages engineers to ‘Get Chartered’ by following a structured training and development programme.
Training for Initial Professional Development (IPD) is delivered at our Global Technical Centre. Our goal is to enhance the skills and career aspirations of the team, offering full project life-cycle experience: from conceptual design through to planned commissioning and product trials. Mentoring is provided throughout the training and development programme by experienced industry professionals.
BRIGGS also offer access to the company Learning Management System (LMS) which hosts a wide range of training modules for personal and professional development including Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), mental health and wellbeing, sustainability and a comprehensive technical library.
