EQUANS Sci-Tech
IChemE Employer Partner
Equans Sci‑Tech, formerly Bouygues Energies & Services and part of the Bouygues group, is built on a long‑established foundation of chemical and process engineering expertise. That engineering capability continues to define how we support complex and highly regulated process industries, particularly pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals and life sciences.
Our teams have deep practical experience of process development, scale‑up, manufacture and process safety. We work at the point where process science meets industrial delivery, applying robust chemical engineering principles to manage risk and enable safe, efficient and compliant facilities from laboratory and pilot scale through to full‑scale manufacturing.
As an engineering‑led organisation, we actively support IChemE and its role in advancing professional standards, strengthening industry knowledge and promoting best practice across the chemical engineering community. We see strong alignment between IChemE’s objectives and our own focus on applied engineering excellence and real‑world industry insight.
Learning and development is central to how we maintain and grow chemical engineering capability. We invest in structured training, mentoring and professional development at all career stages, supporting engineers in developing technical depth, sound engineering judgement and progression towards professional registration. Through this commitment, we aim to contribute positively to IChemE, to industry, and to the long‑term strength of the chemical engineering profession.
Karen Davies, Head of Strategic Partnerships and Relationships, Equans Sci‑Tech: “Becoming an IChemE Employer Partner reflects our commitment to supporting the chemical engineering profession. Chemical and process engineering play a key role in the work we do, and we place strong emphasis on developing capability, sharing practical industry knowledge and maintaining high professional standards. We look forward to working with IChemE to support learning, skills development and the future of the profession.”
Ahsan Zafar, Head of Process Engineering: "We are excited to formalise our long-standing relationship and formally partner with IChemE as an Employer Partner. This collaboration offers a valuable opportunity to share and align our engineering expertise with the wider professional community, helping us both to contribute knowledge and foster the next generation of process engineers."
