Peter has had a varied career in teaching and research. Some of the many topics he has worked on include pharmaceutical quality control, manufacturing process development for Westland Aircraft Plc., biotechnology application to spacecraft life support systems, a helicopter simulator build, was for a few years an Hon. Lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University, developing computer aided learning packages

Currently, his interest lies in using virtual factories, serious gaming and physical modelling tools to aid in the teaching of engineering.
