Overview

Attendees will receive a guided tour of the chemical engineering research and teaching labs at UCL East. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about their research and state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. At the end of the tour, there is an opportunity to network with other participants.

Main facilities of the tour:

• Advanced Propulsion lab (APL): a joint endeavour between mechanical and chemical engineering looking at the electrification of propulsion systems. From Materials for energy storage, to electronics for motor and power control.
• Manufacturing Futures Lab (MFL): a joint endeavour between chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemical engineering and mechanical engineering, looking at advanced manufacturing for a range of areas, sustainable chemicals, biomaterials, healthcare and energy.
• UCL teaching labs.
