The London and South East Coast Members Group and Young Members Forum hosted the yearly Get Chartered event for Industry and Academia on Thursday 23 March from 18:30-20:00 in UCL. Victoria Darcy, Regional Support Executive at IChemE, presented the details on the new application process to get chartered and answered numerous questions from the audience. There were 25 attendees from both industry and academia who were very engaging and expressed their queries for each process throughout the presentation. The event concluded with a networking session, where fellow chemical engineers who are interested in applying in the future or have already started the process, had the opportunity to connect and share their experiences, as well as enjoy pizza and drinks.
