James is another Kiwi in London - but what separates him from other kiwis is his almost decade of experience in the commercialisation of deeptech ideas from lab through to commercial scale. He has worked across different sectors, from industrial biotechnology to minerals processing, and has held different roles, from fundamental R&D to commercial strategy. James will be fostering the connection between LSEMG and iChemE to the start-up community. 

James has a first class honours degree in chemical and material engineering from the University of Auckland, is currently studying entrepreneurship at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, and has been a chartered chemical engineer since 2018.
