Overview

Applicants applying for Chartered Membership will need to complete the three Stage process. There are exemptions available for both Stages 1 (Educational Base) and 2, however all applicants will need to complete Stage 3.

As part of Stage 1, applicants are required to demonstrate their engineering knowledge and understanding to Masters level. Applicants whose degree course/s are fully accredited by IChemE will be exempt from Stage 1. For experienced engineers without accredited academic qualifications it is possible for them to demonstrate their knowledge through their professional experience, this is provided as part of the Individual Case Procedure (ICP).

This session is aimed at those whose qualifications are not accredited or are partially accredited and will need to complete the ICP process. We also suggest that those who provide mentoring support attend. We will cover the application requirements and process for Stage 1. There will be time for questions too.
