Lydia is a chartered process/hydraulic engineer with GHD, with over 11 years’ experience in the design and delivery of projects in the water, wastewater and chemical sectors.

Ayomikun Emmanuel Akintola

Ayomikun is a cryogenic engineer supporting international science programmes such as the European Spallation Source (ESS) and Fermilab’s PIP-II project.

Abdul graduated with an MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester in 2023.

Mike is an experienced engineering consultant with over 45 years in process design and project delivery, having worked across the North West and overseas.

Rodney Gilmour

Committee Member

Rodney has an MA in engineering science from St. Anne’s College, Oxford and an MSc in chemical engineering with design from the University of Manchester.

Moemen Metwally

Industrial Liaison

Moemen graduated with an MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester in 2015. He works for Atmos International, an engineering software company, and has worked in various roles in Energy and the Environment. Moemen is the South Manchester group's Industry Liaison officer.
