Michael graduated from Aston University in 1998 with a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering. Since then, he has worked in a number of chemical process and engineering management roles for organisations such as Aspentech, Stork Protech, GL Noble Denton, TechnipFMC and CNG Services, covering a wide variety of projects in the oil and gas, petrochemical, nuclear, biogas and hydrogen industries.

Michael has been a Chartered Member of IChemE and a Chartered Engineer since 2005.

Michael is a previous Chair of the Midlands Members Group, Michael also volunteers as an IChemE mentor.
