Join us for the Milton Keynes Member Group annual meeting and a talk by Dr Rachel Bibby, Director of Member Experience & Professional Learning at IChemE.

Rachel will discuss IChemE’s recent report: Engineering a Sustainable World: The Chemical Engineering Challenge, which drew on the expertise and perspectives of IChemE’s global membership to discuss a forward view about the profession, and the scope of the global technical challenges that chemical engineers are facing in the coming years. She will ask the profession to consider how it can continue to make a difference for the better and lead the way to a sustainable world.

Speakers

Dr Rachel Bibby, Director of Membership and Professional Learning, IChemE

Rachel joined IChemE in November 2023 and brings a proven track record in strategic leadership of membership organisations, professional learning programmes, not-for-profits and charitable trusts.

Rachel’s background spans a PhD in Microbiology and Biochemistry at The Institute of Food Research UK; to a range of business development roles in HEIs and not-for-profits; and more recently to a series of UK-wide and international senior roles.

For IChemE, Rachel's priorities focus on driving efforts to innovate and adapt for the benefit of all our members, ensuring that IChemE remains the home of choice for an active, committed, inclusive global member base, and a partner of choice with visibility and influence at the forefront of ensuring a multi-disciplinary approach to global grand challenges. Rachel’s experience and expertise is invaluable to helping IChemE deliver our new strategy28+.
