Member Forums exist for both regional member groups and special interest groups.

Special Interest Group Forum comprises the chairs of special interest groups and meets twice a year in quarter one and quarter three. The forum is chaired by the Technical Vice President and it provides a line of accountability to the Board of Trustees, IChemE's governing body.

Regional Forum comprises the chairs of all regional member groups in the UK and Ireland, and provides a line of accountability for these groups to the Board of Trustees, IChemE’s governing body. It typically meets twice a year, in quarter one and quarter three.

Member groups operate within guidelines set out in the Member Group Manual.
