Robert is a chemical and biological engineering graduate from the University of Waikato and currently works as a process engineer in the Carbon Department at Rio Tinto – New Zealand Aluminium Smelters.

Having recently transitioned from university into industry, he is passionate about supporting early-career engineers as they navigate the first stages of their professional journey. Robert is an Associate Member of IChemE and is on the committee of the National Early Careers Group.
