Paul is a graduate engineer completing an engineering and managerial graduate scheme working in the gas industry for GTC within the BUUK multi-utility conglomerate. Some of his work covers incorporation of hydrogen into the natural gas network, EV electric grid solutions and metropolitan low carbon heat districts.

Paul studied at the University of Sheffield, producing a group dissertation looking at a second generation bioethanol site with CHP and wastewater treatment systems, as well as a masters thesis simulating a liquid air energy storage system.

Paul successfully ran the NECC as the Chair for the 2021-2022 season.
