Richard is an industrial gas process plant product manager covering the EMEA region, working in the industrial gases business for the last 17 years in various technical, operational and commercial roles.

Richard graduated from the University of Nottingham and is both a Chartered Chemical Engineer and Fellow of IChemE. He has been involved with this committee since 2010 and has previously occupied the roles of secretary and chair. He is also secretary and deputy chair of a technical committee within the British Compressed Gases Association.

Richard takes a keen interest in developing others and has been a Sheffield region mentor for many years.
