Wui Poh Yong is a retired senior executive with extensive operational and business leadership experience across the palm oil, petrochemical, mining, and minerals processing industries.

In his most recent role, he served as Vice President at Sibelco Asia Pte Ltd, where he was responsible for overseeing business performance and operations across multiple countries and sites in Asia. Prior to this, he spent 26 years with DuPont in Singapore, holding a range of operational, supply chain and HR leadership positions.

Wui Poh’s expertise lies in driving improvements in health and safety, process safety, operational excellence, and business performance. He has a strong track record of delivering results through people engagement and development, operational excellence initiatives, and the resolution of complex business challenges. Over the course of his career, he successfully led the development and start-up of two greenfield manufacturing plants and established a regional supply organisation.

A member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) since 1978 and former Chair of the IChemE Singapore Member Group, Wui Poh currently serves as a Chartered and Fellow Professional Reviewer and Interviewer, supporting the professional development of chemical engineers.
