Kaitlyn is a process engineer with experience predominantly in the oil and gas industry and is the chair of the South Australia Joint Chemical Engineering and Industrial Chemistry Committee (SA JCEC) and the South Australian representative on the IChemE Australian National Board.

In her role as a process engineer for GPA Engineering she has had the opportunity to work on projects across the oil and gas and renewable energy industries. 

Kaitlyn previously worked as an operations supervisor and field support / facilities engineer for Strike Energy, primarily based at their Southern Cooper Basin Pilot Plant. In this role Kaitlyn managed small team of operators and was responsible for the day to day operations of the facility, and providing engineering support for the field operations.

During this time Kaitlyn gained invaluable hands on experience operating and maintaining plant and equipment as well as implementing measures to improve operational efficiencies, managing and maintaining the sites SCADA systems, including the troubleshooting any operational and control issues, and anything else that was thrown her way.
