The South West Member Group warmly invites you to an in-person networking event.

Open to all IChemE members in the region, this event is an excellent opportunity to connect with peers across industries and career stages. Chartered Members are especially encouraged to attend.

The session will be an informal networking event, beginning with a brief introduction from members of the South West Member Group Committee. This will be followed by group discussions on topics such as IChemE membership experiences, career journeys, routes to Chartership or Fellowship.

The South West region includes a diverse range of professionals working in varied roles and sectors. This event offers a great chance to learn more about the work happening in the area and to expand your professional network. We look forward to welcoming you.

Suchismita Bhattacharya, IChemE South West Member Group Chair

Suchismita has a BEng chemical engineering degree from ICT, Mumbai and a PhD from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Over the last 22 years, she has worked in engineering and project management roles in the field of air pollution control, cement, pharmaceutical and surfactant production, plastic recycling and waste to energy. She is currently working as a principal process engineer at Atkins Realis on Net Zero and UKAEA projects. She has a penchant for teaching and conducts courses and workshops for improving engineering competence.
