Peter Dodd

With degrees from Imperial College, London in Chemical Engineering, Peter joined ICI at Billingham on the world’s largest fermenter, and scaled up the QuornTM process.

He worked out how to produce GMO’s continuously commercially as a world first and was one os a small team that moved the Billingham operation into Contract Biopharmaceuticals.

Peter, now retired, has had senior level roles in Operations and QA and is the past UK Chair for ISPE though most of his career was in process scale up and implementation. He recently had the privilege to work on tech transfer for the AstraZeneca Covid 19 vaccine.
