Overview
To achieve the net zero transition, there is a need to scale up the production of low carbon alternative fuels e.g. hydrogen. However, this introduces fresh challenges that are different from existing fossil fuels.
This presentation will discuss the unique properties of Hydrogen, the hazards involved in its production and use and the safeguards required to mitigate and control them. We will discuss previous incidents involving the use of hydrogen whilst also providing insight into the safe use of hydrogen.
Our talk starts at 6 pm but we meet for tea and coffee before which I will sort. The TU booking is for the earlier start. The talk starts at 6 pm.
