His expertise in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) technology is supported by extensive global R&D experience, where he has contributed to 37 patent filings and played a key role in advancing innovative solutions in renewable energy and digital technologies.

Currently, Dr. Gajjela serves as the Director of Sustainables at Tomato Energy, leading the development and commercialization of cutting-edge sustainable energy products. His previous roles have involved overseeing R&D initiatives, technology scale-up processes, and front-end engineering design (FEED) for various renewable energy projects. Dr. Gajjela is passionate about driving sustainability and decarbonization globally, leveraging his expertise in SAF, green hydrogen, biodiesel, e-fuels, and bio-LPG.
