Umair is a principal process consultant at Wood plc in Reading, with over 20 years of global engineering experience.

For the last three years, he has been at the forefront of the energy transition, leading the design of large-scale low-carbon hydrogen and blue ammonia projects aiming for over 95% carbon capture.

Throughout his career delivering solutions for major clients like Shell and Saudi Aramco, Umair has specialised in optimising plant performance, safety, and environmental compliance.

He is dedicated to using his experience to foster knowledge sharing and support the professional development of TVMG members.
