Ian Fraser, CEng MIChemE has a BSc. in Chemical and Process Engineering and an MPhil degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the West Indies. He has thirty-two (32) years of Process Engineering experience within Upstream, Refinery and Ammonia Manufacturing Industries. At the time of retirement from Shell Trinidad and Tobago Limited in July 2021, Ian was the Process Engineering Technical Authority for both Operations/Brownfield Projects and Greenfield Projects. 

Ian’s significant career achievements were in Operations Support and Project Assurance. His field experience includes commissioning and start-up of an 1850 MTD ammonia plant and he has proven competence in Upstream Production Chemistry assurance, management of production chemicals contractors and cooling water/boiler feedwater treatment program monitoring and control.

After retirement, Ian has been focused on volunteerism and outdoor activities.
