Overview
Digital twin, contextual twin, knowledge graph, and AI have become commonplace in industry today. Undoubtably they have brought many advantages to information management but how can we gain the benefits in projects and operations to deliver safe, sustainable and accurate engineering.
This webinar will discuss how applying engineering knowledge to the digital information can extract trusted engineering data from documentation and use this in a practical way during design, operations and maintenance. Some real world examples will be shown for using the digital information in engineering validations, optimisations and process safety studies.
Speaker
Joseph McDonald, Managing Director, Hazid Technologies
Joseph holds a BEng chemical engineering from the University of Paisely. He has been involved in the creation and use of digital engineering information for 20 years. He started during the commercialisation of the European STOPHAZ project which brought automated HAZOP analysis to market in 2007. Later he contributed to the continual development of digital engineering knowledge applications which have been applied to the oil and gas, nuclear, chemical and process industries globally.
