Dr Afshin Karami (CEng, MIChemE, RPEQ) is a Senior Process and Chemical Engineer with extensive experience in process design, R&D, EPCM project delivery, and operational support across major oil, gas, and mineral processing ventures. His expertise spans FEED through commissioning, process optimisation, and simulation analysis using Aspen HYSYS. He has a strong record in process troubleshooting, HAZOP/HAZID studies, and developing practical engineering solutions for complex systems.

Holding a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Adelaide University, Dr Karami combines technical depth with a strong commitment to advancing engineering practice. Based in Western Australia, he is a Chartered Member of IChemE and actively contributes to the profession through his role on the Joint Chemical Engineering Committee (JCEC) WA.
