Overview

Process simulation is commonly used throughout the modern chemical engineering industry. Graduates need to be ready to utilise this technology correctly and effectively when they join the work force.

The aim of this course is to demonstrate to participants how to relate process design into process modeling/simulation environments, and consequently set up models, run them and interpret the results correctly. This will allow lecturers to better teach the process simulation class, which is generally a component of the senior level design course.

Dominic Foo, Professor of Process Design and Integration, University of Nottingham Malaysia

Dominic is a Fellow of IChemE, he is the subject editor for IChemE's journal Process Safety and Environmental Protection, (Elsevier), and serves as editor for many other journals. He has published 12 books, including two in process simulation.
