Overview

The North American Mixing Forum (NAMF) and International Symposium on Mixing in Industrial Processes (ISMIP) is pleased to invite you to the upcoming MIXING XXVIII and ISMIP 11 Conference to be held at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Banff, Alberta, Canada from 24-27 June 2024.

Continuing with our tradition of presentations and discussions of path breaking research material in a collegial environment with open-minded and fruitful mixing discussions, there will be no published proceedings and formal papers do not need to be submitted. We do however request authors to submit abstracts for their intended talk.

Conference topics include:

• Single Phase Mixing
• Multiphase Mixing
• Mixing Under Extreme Conditions: Rheology, Reactive Systems, Localized Concentrations and less frequently seen conditions
• Computational Simulations and Modelling
• Novel Mixing Techniques and Mixers
• Mixing Education
• Industrial Applications and Troubleshooting

Guidelines for Authors and Important Dates:

• Abstract length: 300-600 words
• Deadline to submit abstracts: 16 February 2024
• Authors’ notification: 14 March  2024
