Research Students Conference - Call for Abstracts

Research Students Conference - Call for Abstracts

15th January 2025

Abstracts are invited for presentations during the Research Students Conference of the Fluid Mixing Processes Special Interest Group.

This annual event aims to bring together UK based research students to present their findings in the field of fluid mixing processes to their peers and professionals from industry and academia. Oral and poster presentations are invited from those conducting research on single or multi-phase mixing processes: liquid blending, crystallisation, gas, solid or immiscible liquid dispersion into liquids, reactive mixing relating to a wide range of products, formulations, industries.

Whilst traditionally the activities in the area have focused on stirred tanks due to their wide use and flexibility, we also welcome participations from studies with other process devices, such as rotor-stators, stirred bead mills, microfluidic devices, liquid jets, ultrasonic processors, oscillatory or shaken devices.

There will be a prize, contributing towards the costs of a student attending a conference.

Send your abstract to n.ozcan-taskin@lboro.ac.uk by 31 January 2025, stating whether you wish to make an oral or poster presentation.
