Overview

Saving energy and valuable resources is one of the highest priorities in the todays industry. While many membrane-based solutions for organic gas applications are state-of-art, organic liquid streams are typically processed by conventional thermal unit operations due to non-availability of solvent-resistant high-performance membranes.

BORSIG Membrane Technology GmbH has developed solvent-resistant polymer membranes which are industrially available and have proved their performance in industrial reference installations.

Within this webinar an outline of applications and improvements in the industries from oil, gas and petrochemicals, via fine and specialty chemicals over life science products down to the recycling industry is given.

Robin has a Masters' degree in biochemical engineering by the Technical University of Dortmund. He is working as a sales and process engineer at BORSIG Membrane Technology GmbH since 2019, responsible for the fields dealing with monomer recovery and liquid separation.
