Zainab is a member in the Leadership Group of the Energy COP and the Deputy Chair for the Board of IChemE Malaysia. She has 40 years of working experience in the oil and gas industry, covering process design and engineering for the domestic and international ventures of Malaysia’s national oil company.

In her tenure as the technical leader, she has driven sustainability work fronts in circular carbon and hydrogen economy, biogas production from palm oil mill effluent and food waste, whilst shaping up skills and capability for the energy transition.
