OSRL is the world’s largest industry funded cooperative providing the latest technology and resources to respond to spill s of any size, anywhere in the world. They have been serving the industry for over 40 years, and in the 15 years since the Deepwater Horizon response there have been may innovations. In this presentation, OSRL will provide an update on the latest global response technology and resources. Rob Holland, Science, Technology & Stakeholder Engagement Manager, OSRL

Rob holds BSc and PhD qualifications in Marine Biology and has over 30 years’ experience ranging from academic research, teaching, consultancy and the last 22 years in the oil spill response industry. Rob currently leads a global team whose remit includes “Bridging Science to Response” designed to enhance and strengthen the engagement of OSRL to the research and academic community.

Mario Fazio, Global Integration Manager, OSRL

Mario has considerable experience in crisis and emergency management, boasting extensive experience across both emergency services and the oil and gas sector. In his current role as the Global Response Integration Manager at OSRL, Mario oversees a range of critical services including Subsea Well Intervention, Global Dispersant Services, Technical Training, Technology Evolution, and Oiled Wildlife Response. Mario's leadership and dedication to advancing emergency response capabilities have made him a significant figure in his field.

Liam Harrington-Missin, Head of Response Evolution (Technology), OSRL

Liam leads Technology Evolution at OSRL, where he focuses on modernising how the industry prepares for and responds to oil spills. His work bridges frontline operations with emerging technologies, helping teams adopt smarter, faster, and more effective ways of working.
