Overview

HVAC is the major energy consuming utility in biopharma and life science facilities. This presentation aims to discuss means of lessening the impact of this intensive but critical system, looking at the viability of dynamic/adaptive airflow in cleanroom spaces. We will be showing data from the first life science cleanroom to implement this approach - demonstrating a significant reduction in energy consumption versus traditional airflow approaches and a key enabler for net zero carbon biopharma facilities.

Keith Beattie, Director, EECO2

Keith is an experienced professional with over 25 years' service in the pharmaceutical industry. He currently serves as a Director at EECO2, a leading global provider of sustainability solutions for the life science sector.

Throughout his career, Keith has demonstrated a passion for driving sustainable change within the pharmaceutical industry. He has worked with the world's leading pharma and biopharmaceutical companies, helping them to reduce their carbon footprint and improve their environmental sustainability. His expertise includes energy and water efficiency, carbon reduction, decarbonisation roadmaps, HVAC design and validation, cleanroom design and operation.
