Kazym is a Safety, Health and Environment Risk Manager working for SSE Renewables operations, covering hydro, offshore and onshore wind generation, solar and battery storage, as well as development and construction projects in renewables.

Abigail is in her final year at the University of Nottingham studying for an Integrated Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. She recently completed a year in industry at Syngenta in their Process Hazards Section.

Joseph works as an independent Process Safety Engineer supporting clients to achieve compliance with DSEAR and COMAH Regulations.

Andy specialises particularly in DSEAR and hazardous area classification, and has worked in process safety for more than thirty years.

Peter has 39 years experience in the oil refining and engineering contracting businesses. His primary focus area within the S&LP SIG is learning from incidents.
Richard Mundy

Richard is a lead process and process safety engineer within bp. He has experience relating to upstream oil & gas, refining and petrochemical businesses.
Steven Murphy
Regional Representative - Central & Southern Europe
Steve is Head of Process Safety at Syngenta, with extensive experience particularly in hazard studies and preparation of Seveso reports. He is based in Switzerland as is an IChemE Professional Process Safety Engineer.
Carolyn Nicholls

Carolyn's current work is predominantly with clients in the UK, working to ensure COMAH and DSEAR compliance. She has particular interest and expertise in Quantified Risk Assessment and ALARP demonstration, both for safety of people and the environment.
Christina Phang
Regional Representative - Malaysia
Ir Dr Christina Phang is a Fellow of the IChemE and a Professional Process Safety Engineer and was awarded the 2016 IChemE Franklin Medal. She is also a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers (BEM) in Malaysia and Professional Engineers Board (PEB) in Singapore.

Panos currently works on risk based inspection (RBI) software, but also has considerable experience in consequence analysis. He holds a PhD in process thermodynamics.

Ian is the Global Functional Process Lead for Design HSE, and Manager of the UK Design HSE Department for Fluor Corporation. He is also a trustee of the Hazards Forum.

Learned Society Committee (LSC) Representative
Louise Whiting has worked in operating oil and gas majors and now as a consultant. She is also active in SaRS and is a member of the HAZARDS Technical Committee.
Mark Wilson

Mark has a background in the management of top tier COMAH sites in the Teesside region. He worked with ICI, then with companies including Huntsman, Sabic, Davy McKee and Ensus.
