David works for Rolls-Royce plc as a Process Safety Subject Matter Expert, supporting their global operations in aerospace, defence, nuclear and energy generation.

David has experience with operational management of an upper tier CoMAH facility (explosives), process safety engineering and emergency response.

As a member of the IChemE Safety and Loss Prevention Special Interest Group, Hazards Technical Committee, and the Major Hazards Committee Working Group on lessons learned, David is particularly interested in safety culture, interdisciplinary knowledge sharing and learning from experience.
