Sean O'Sullivan, Inspector of Health & Safety

Sean is an Inspector of Health and Safety in the Energy Division at the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE), and an Associate Lecturer in Process Safety and Operational Integrity at the University of Surrey. He has been in regulatory and technical safety roles, supporting the oil and gas industry, for 20 years and has been a Professional Process Safety Engineer since 2015.

He is particularly interested in the practical management of process safety risks, such as when something is broken, educating and engaging non-process safety professionals and looking at the holistic improvement of all areas of process safety.
