Andrea is a Chemical Engineer and Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering at UCL. He specializes in the methodological development of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and in the application of life-cycle thinking methodologies (including LCA) to conventional and emerging technologies across a number of sectors, including energy systems and waste management. Andrea is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a member of IChemE's Sustainability Committee and the Life Cycle Initiative, where he contributes to the development of the Global Guidance for Life Cycle Impact Assessment Indicators and Methods (GLAM).
