Dan is a graduate chemical engineer from Newcastle University, working within Group Environment at Tata Steel Europe. He primarily works with Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) methodology, considering many factors such as the use of water, energy, and materials sourced, to evaluate the emissions and environmental impacts of the processes within steelmaking.

Dan is keen to participate within the community of IChemE in order to help raise awareness of important issues, and facilitate the sharing of knowledge among chemical engineering professionals.
