Laura is a Senior Process Engineer working in Mott MacDonalds with experience on water, biosolids and waste treatment plants design. She has a keen interest in expanding experience on water and wastewater treatment plant design, micro-pollutants removal, nutrient valorisation, circular economy, low carbon technologies, and process optimisation for energy and climate neutrality.

Her experience includes proposing design alternatives in bidding phases, undertaking operational evaluation through the review of plant data and technical documents, including mass and energy balances, process calculations and flowsheet estimations. She is skilled in providing support to treatment plants during start-up, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, handover projects and training to operation teams.

Laura is assisting the Water SIG to increase its engagement with universities and students on ChemEng and water issues.
