This hybrid webinar, presented by Connor Skoss, Senior Process Engineer, Hydroflux Epco, and Garry Law, Professional Process Safety Engineer, Independent Consultant, examined the Longford gas plant incident, one of Australia's most significant process safety events.

Using the incident as a case study, the presenters explored the factors that contributed to the event, the lessons learned and the safety assessment tools and resources that can help organisations prevent similar incidents.

The session provided practical insights into process safety, hazard identification and risk management, highlighting the importance of learning from major incidents to strengthen operational safety and resilience.
