Doug Scott

Doug has over 30 years in the insurance industry involved in risk assessments and claims investigations of the offshore and onshore oil upstream oil industry, downstream oil industry, petrochemicals, chemical, fertilizer and power industries with Charles Taylor Adjusting, Johnson & Higgins (now Marsh), AIG (now Chartis). Prior to this, Doug spent four years with Britoil (now part of BP) involved in design, risk assessment and accident investigation of offshore platforms and onshore terminals; five years with WS Atkins and Partners, involved in a verity of engineering and safety roles; and two years with ICI Plastics Division mostly involved in process design and project engineering roles
