Trish brings her expertise on SDG 3 (Good health and wellbeing) to the group. She has spent most of her career in the global pharmaceutical industry, working in manufacturing, product launch, operational excellence and project management.

Neil has spent his career in the energy sector, transitioning through heat exchanger development and design, vehicle power batteries, and all elements of the nuclear fuel cycle.

Mohammed Asmaljee

Mohammed is the Energy Efficiency principal at Anglo American, where he provides technical support and governance oversight including policy, standard and protocol support.

Richard Brice
Learned Society Liaison and Technical Advisory Group Member
Richard has spent most of his career optimising and designing wastewater treatment plants. He has focused on reducing chemical consumption and power inputs whilst reducing footprint.

Laura Malhi

Laura has spent the past 12 years working in the food and drink industry and supporting chemical engineers through various roles on the Food & Drink SIG committee. Laura is supporting SDG 3: Health and Wellbeing.

Dr Ming Xie

Ming is a trained Environmental Engineer specialising in membrane-based processes for desalination and wastewater treatment.

Dr Jully Tan

Jully is a senior Chemical Engineering Lecturer and Course Director at Monash University Malaysia. Her research focuses on life cycle assessment and optimisation for microalgae production.

Jessica Hernandez

Spanning disciplines, sectors, and countries, Jessica's career path has led to the Environment Agency's Air Quality Modelling and Assessment Unit (AQMAU).

David Platts

David Platts is a semi retired consultant engineer with extensive experience in food manufacturing process design and projecting in the dairy industry.

Peter Donnelly
Peter has been working on effluents and waste treatment in a variety of industries across the globe since he graduated as a chemical engineer over 30 years ago. The focus on waste treatment and waste minimisation and minimal footprint is something he has been keen on throughout his career. Peter is currently Deputy Head of specialism for Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) in the UK. He previously had been Deputy Lead on Research in ONR.
