IChemE Climate Change Position Statement

Aiming to take a lead role in tackling climate change, IChemE has developed a position statement with the commitment to work with all stakeholders, from governments to communities around the world, to deliver a fair, safe and sustainable future.

Strategy 2024

Chemical engineering matters. Its contribution to the advancement of society is clear to see in every home, hospital, school, factory and high street across the world. Looking forward, societal improvement and protection, as set out in the Global Grand Challenges for Engineering, will require us to play our part and provide our expertise in collaboration with others to deliver solutions that will have a positive impact, globally.

Learned Society​ Priority Topics

The Learned Society Priority Topics document identifies three topics for IChemE to concentrate its delivery on to drive progress towards achieving the vision set out by Strategy 2024.

Macnab-Lacey Prize

The Macnab-Lacey Prize is awarded to the undergraduate student design project team whose design project submission best shows how chemical engineering practice can contribute to a more sustainable world.
