Registered Scientist (RSci)
Registered Scientists (RSci) are registered with the Science Council and can be found in a huge variety of scientific and higher technical roles. They can work autonomously and apply their scientific knowledge in new areas.
Once registered, you must maintain your status through meeting continuing professional development (CPD) requirements each year. As you progress in your career and gain more responsibility and experience, you may want to apply for Chartered Scientist.
Registered Scientists can demonstrate:
- application of knowledge and understanding
- personal responsibility
- interpersonal skills
- professionalism
- professional standards.

RSci registration is available to Associate Members.
